C&T Enterprises, Inc., will receive letters of interest for a Part-Time Customer Service Representative at Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative (REC).
Location: This position will be based at the Tri-County REC headquarters in Mansfield, PA.
Reporting Structure: This position will report to the Manager of Customer Service at Tri-County REC.
Primary Function: The primary function of this position is to provide prompt and courteous service to members and the public by answering questions, transferring calls, and welcoming visitors arriving at the cooperative. The representative will also be responsible for ensuring the cooperative's requirements are met for service, maintaining member records related to memberships and deposits, assisting with sales calls and customer retention, and providing general assistance to the Manager of Customer Service and other staff as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Experience in the sale of broadband, internet, and telecommunications industry (preferred)
- Demonstrates courteous and professional communication in written correspondence, in‑person interactions, and telephone conversations
- Knowledge of basic office computer systems and equipment, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrates the ability to learn and effectively utilize all applicable Information Technology systems, including the cooperative’s customer service, billing, and business software
- Effective analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Maintains strong attention to detail and possesses solid mathematical skills
- Possesses knowledge of general business office practices and proper business correspondence formats
- Demonstrates the ability to become familiar with and comply with all relevant cooperative policies pertaining to member interactions
- Knowledge of the IVUE system (preferred)

Responsibilities:
As the Customer Service Representative, the candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for opening and closing the office
- Providing receptionist duties in a professional, courteous manner
- Answering incoming calls and responding promptly and accurately to caller inquiries
- Transferring calls as applicable
- Entering call data into the outage management system
- Maintaining membership, service connection, and security deposit files
- Balancing files with the accountant and the computer
- Preparing letters and reports for the Board of Directors, billing department, and other groups
- Prepare, copy, and assemble letters, reports, and other documents
- Preparing and checking meter installations and removals
- Connecting with consumers to educate them on cooperative/subsidiary products, services, and promotions to generate sales
- Processing service orders, bill adjustments, and various billing/payment options
- Scheduling internet and/or voice installs for customers
- Dispatching trouble tickets when needed
- Assisting with registration of members at the annual meeting
- Responding or initiating radio calls as needed
- Participating in educational training, technical training, and safety meetings
- Understanding and complying with cooperative policies, procedures, and programs
- Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders, including the Manager of Customer Service, the Director of Finance, Tri-Co Connections personnel, engineering staff, and other cooperative and subsidiary employees relevant to assigned responsibilities
- Communicate with external stakeholders, including cooperative members; the general public; assistance agencies; financial institutions; audit personnel; collection agencies; other utility organizations; and NISC representatives
- Performing any other related work as assigned
Special Working Conditions:
The candidate must be available to work at all hours during emergency conditions such as during prolonged outages. Occasional overnight travel may also be required. Must comply with all cooperative policies and safety rules.

Primary Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving subscriber growth and increasing revenue for our broadband and related services. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, developing actionable goal-oriented sales plans, and converting opportunities into long-term customers of Revolution Broadband.
This position is hands-on and execution-focused, ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a small business environment where strategy and action go hand in hand.
Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field is preferred
- Three to five years of sales & marketing experience
- Working knowledge of broadband internet and voice services
- Experience in business development, sales, or growth roles, preferably in rural markets
- Willing to learn, effectively work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude
- Delivers courteous, professional service and maintains positive working relationships
- General understanding of telecommunications services and technologies
- Strong analytical, organizational, creative thinking skills
- Knowledge of data analysis and report writing
- Computer skills, including basic operation and knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing documents, and company-specific software applications
- Applies problem-solving skills to identify and utilize basic troubleshooting techniques to promptly resolve issues, demonstrating the ability to balance multiple duties and priorities
- Utilizes excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, consumers and the general public, associations and other organizations, other companies, vendors, consultants, etc.

Responsibilities:
As the Business Development Manager, the candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow residential, commercial, and enterprise subscribers
- Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, service upgrades, and expansion of existing accounts
- Identify underserved markets, neighborhoods, and members for broadband expansion
- Collaborate with the director of broadband operations to evaluate funding opportunities for broadband expansion
- Collaborate with operations and network teams to align sales efforts with network capabilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including commercial and enterprise accounts, hosted PBX and business phone systems, anchor institutions (schools, healthcare, municipal entities), strategic partnerships and reseller opportunities
- Research local market conditions, competitors, and pricing trends
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new services, expansions, or promotions
- Track progress against goals and adjust strategies as needed
- Build strong relationships with customers, local businesses, community leaders, and Claverack REC/Revolution partners
- Represent the company at local events, trade shows, and community meetings
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, clearly communicating service value and differentiators
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasts
- Report regularly on subscriber growth, revenue performance, and opportunity pipeline
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, messaging, and lead generation
- Provide customer and market feedback to leadership and operations teams
- Perform other related work as assigned

- Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is required
- Ability to serve on internal and external committees
- Occasional overnight travel required
- The incumbent must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
